LifeHub NI – Urgent call for donations

URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS TO HELP LOCAL CHARITY TACKLE FOOD POVERTY
LifeHub NI has been operating for 3 years but with the growing demand for the service which tackles food poverty, the charity is calling for donations to help with essential running costs to sustain the provision of fresh food to those in need.

More about LifeHub NI and Founder Edmund Aruofor
LifeHub NI was created to help stop food poverty in Northern Ireland. Edmund and his team hand out over 378 food parcels per week from Townsend Street to the people of Belfast who are in need of support.
Edmund, moved over from London to Belfast as he felt called by God to help others in need. He moved his family here and got started right away on his charity and life’s mission to help others.
Early starts have become a normal now for Edmund who gets up at 4.30am each day to drive to all the local supermarkets near and far to collect food that they would have otherwise thrown away.
Edmund drives over 14,000 miles per year, helping over 378 families per week. He has helped over 1000 families through COVID. Working every single day, without one PENNY of payment from the government or any other funding sources.
Sisters Katie and Angela Stevenson recently started doing social media & marketing work for Townsend Enterprise Park and came across the amazing Edmund.
They wanted to help Edmund in any way that they could so they set up a crowdfunding campaign.

IN ASSOCIATION WITH LIFEHUB NI
We help local community organisations share their missions to find support/donations for their causes. Our service matches people who are offering support with those who have requested it through our platform. We are not recommending or endorsing any organisation, simply signposting to those who have requested support. It is ultimately the decision of the volunteer/donor to determine if they would like to contribute to the cause. Any resulting support delivered as a result of any referrals/donations is done so independently of Community Calling. We always welcome feedback and any suggestions to improve our service.
