Feedback

We always ask for feedback
We listen to the needs of our communities
Since we started matching support requests , we have asked everyone involved for feedback. This feedback has shaped how we evolved since March 2020.
The responses have been heartwarming and remind us daily why we do what we do.
Our feedback comes from all recipients of support, both individuals and organisations. We are always open to suggestions and keen to help and adapt in any way we can.

"I'm absolutely delighted to receive the hand sanatiser. Communication from yourselves was fantastic, I was made aware I was eligible to receive sanatiser and today it arrived. The man who delivered was very professional ensuring to maintain social distancing whilst doing the door delivery. Thank you again for your contribution, it means a lot to my small business."

"It was a much needed sanitiser donation and will enable me to not only keep the hands of the children in my care clean but also I will be able to educate them on the importance of using hand sanatiser regularly which is important to me as a registered childminder."

"Offered assistance at any time. I am lucky to have a daughter living close. She is married to a paramedic and could have to isolate at any time. I feel comforted to have someone I could call on."

"I was contacted by a volunteer and even tho I don’t need anything at the minute as I have been able to access shopping online with various shops, milkman and my chemist is delivering my medication to me he assured me that anything in the future he was able to help. I really appreciate as I’m disabled and at high risk of infection so can’t get to shops and although I will try everything I possibly can to manage myself knowing that I will be able to ask for help is should a relief. Thank you so much!!"

"Knowing that your teams of volunteers are out there in the community easing a lot of the anxieties folk like myself living with disabilities are experiencing over this pandemic makes it all a lot less stressful.."

"Friendly voluntary staff that in these awful days of coronavirus where my ongoing health issues have had me very anxious meant a lot to me. They lifted my mood and gave me hope. Thank you."

"Communication was very quick, spoke to a lovely man that said not to hesitate contacting him. I’m not one to ask for anything and tend to just make do but is comforting to know as a single parent to a vulnerable young adult with aplastic anemia and asd, learning difficulties that there is someone there if I need help."
Recipient of SupportFermanagh and Omagh District Council
"Registered online and the next day had a call from my volunteer to confirm what help I needed or may need in the future. Pleasant phone call with the reassurance that They would do what they could (I’m a transplant patient so shielding). I was told I could contact them if I needed anything. Asda left bread and milk out of my delivery and I message and asked if it was possible to get some dropped off in the coming days. They had it with me the next day. Person delivering it knocked and waited til they saw me through the window, told me who they were, why they were there and that they were leaving my supplies in the doorstep. They then promptly left. Receipt was left in the bag and I was able to PayPal over the find for the bread and milk. All in all this was an amazingly quick, easy and non-stressful way to get what I needed. I can’t thank you and your volunteers enough. And while I will continue to use ASDA as long as I can get a delivery spot it’s comforting to know that should anything happen I will be left stranded without the necessities."
Recipient of SupportFermanagh and Omagh District Council
"I was impressed the way he messaged and reminded me that if I need anything just to contact him. I said to him i would only contact if it was really important and had no way of getting anything done any other way because I don't want to be taking away from other people who need more than myself. He was okay with that, which I thought was nice of him to work in whatever way I requested. It will only be an emergency or last resort when I do use the service as I do sometimes have other ways of getting essentials but at least I'm not worrying thinking what if I can't then what, its peace of mind knowing I have the service if needed."
Recipient of SupportFermanagh and Omagh District Council
"From the moment I registered to receive the hand sanitizer for my childminding business, I was kept up to speed via email about the details and the delivery. I found Danielle and Eugene to be very friendly and helpful and I can’t thank them enough for supplying me with the hand sanitizer which is very much needed in my line of work. I know a few other childminders in my area who also benefited from this service and they are all extremely happy with the product and the service. Once again I would like to say thank you, it is very much appreciated!."
